Programming the LM171 Wireless Keypad

Programming the LM171 Wireless Keypad for Gates #1 and #2

Using the LM171 Wireless Keypad is easy and intuitive. Each of the two gates is associated an arrow on the keypad and all programming is made by pressing the corresponding arrow, followed by a suite of simple and basic commands. The commands forGate #1 are introduced by pressing the left arrow on the keypad, while the commands for Gate #2 are introduced by pressing the right arrow.

Should you want to program the keypad Gate Opener, you press “LEARN” on the Control Panel of Gate Opener for Gate #1. Wait for a LED on the Panel to come on and then to turn off. The factory setting password is 11. To input the password, then press the left arrow. Wait for the LED to turn on and off and you are done. To open Gate #1, simply input the password and press the left arrow.

The commands are the same for Gate #2, with the only difference that you need to press the right arrow, and that the factory set password for this one is 22. Press LEARN on the Control Panel of Gate #2, wait for the light to go on and off, introduce preset password, press the right arrow, wait for the light to go on and off.

Once you have programmed the keypad, it is time to change the factory preset passwords. Once again, we do this by introducing commands with the corresponding arrows for both gates, for each gate at a time. Press “0” and hold it, press the left arrow for Gate #1 and the right arrow for Gate #2 while still holding “0”. Release first the arrow, then the “0” key. Input the new password, press the corresponding arrow, re-input the new password and press once again the corresponding arrow, left for Gate #1 and right for Gate #2.

As long as you get accustomed with how each Gate is controlled on the LM171 Wireless Keypad, programming can be done easily and without problems, whenever necessary.
